Great Health PT offers an impressive range of services and exercise options catering to all ages, categories and levels of fitness and ability; these include children, seniors, pre and post-natal women, the plus-size and to those facing physical and mental difficulties, amongst others.
Other instructors waste their client’s time and money with routines that are ineffective and non-productive.
However, what I teach clients is based upon proven exercise science, coupled with years of personal experience and real-life results and always with the best interests of the trainee at heart.

SERVICES:
ONE-ON-ONE. This is by far the best option for getting maximum gains in minimum time. With a One-on-One session you will have my undivided attention, where I can concentrate solely on your training, giving me a chance to monitor and help perfect your form. It also gives me the opportunity to develop a routine for you that takes into your individual requirements.
GROUP TRAINING. Want to exercise with your family or a group of your friends? With Great Health PT, you can. All you have to do is supply the group and the venue and I can supply the rest. Although you don’t get the same level of attention as you do with a personal session, for some it runs a close second.
CORPORATE. Studies show that greater health leads to greater productivity and less injuries in the workplace. Show your staff that you care and allow me to help your staff improve their lives. I can provide both One-On-One and Group Training at your Company site and in another location of your choosing. I can also provide workplace-related fitness programs and workshops to help keep your staff healthy and happy.
EXERCISE OPTIONS. These refer to all of the different forms of exercise that I can take you through and can be done in both One-On-One or Group Training sessions.

RESISTANCE TRAINING. This refers to training with both free weights and your bodyweight to develop strength throughout the body. A properly constructed program can bring about remarkable changes in record time and without spending hours in the gym every day. A moderately intense weight training program can lead to increases in strength throughout the bones, muscles and connective tissue, accelerated body fat loss and a dramatically improved appearance. Let me show you how these can be yours through safe and effective resistance training.
CARDIO. Also known as “aerobics”, cardio is the term given to any form of exercise that raises your pulse above a certain level for over 20 minutes, which helps to burn up body fat, speed up the metabolism and improve the efficiency and health of your heart, lungs and blood vessels. I teach many different forms of cardio sessions, ranging from kick-boxercise to circuit training.
FLEXIBILITY. This refers to your muscles and limbs to move through a full range of motion, enabling ease of movement not just in exercise but throughout daily life; simply put, a flexible body is an easy-to-use-and-move-around-in body. Unfortunately, too many people neglect this part of their health and pay the price for it with tight muscles that are easy to injure. The same applies to their posture, with people slouching their way into back pain. These problems can be easily remedied with the comprehensive flexibility program that I teach clients, leading to amazing improvements in their quality of life.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES. Aside from the Exercise Options I also offer many other services that can be applied to both One-On-One and Group Training. These include the following:
WEIGHT MANAGEMENT AND NUTRITIONAL ADVICE. Losing excess body fat and eating a healthy diet are very simple things to do but almost all fail at it. Let me show you the right way to eat well while shedding the excess. All clients receive a comprehensive handout that gets them on the fast track to fitness and ongoing support and counselling is always available.
WOMEN’S SELF-DEFENCE. Take charge of your life and learn how to defend yourself! I provide instruction in women’s self-defence, teaching personal security principles and physical self-defence techniques that will help to defend yourself against common attack situations.
The women’s self-defence program is my speciality, having been involved in researching and teaching classes in the subject for many years. I am the author of “Common Sense Self-Defence: A Comprehensive Guide To Women’s Self-Defence” and have taught many hundreds of hours in the classroom.
Sessions can be taught in several different formats, ranging from a single three-hour “crash-course” to half-day workshops and more intensive courses that run over several sessions.
CONSULTANCY AND ADVICE. I offer in-house consultancy and advisory services to institutions, businesses and families and, within a single session, I can advise as to how to improve health and fitness through simple lifestyle changes. Similar services are also available online and via the phone.
SPORTS SPECIFIC TRAINING. Need to get into shape for a specific sport? I can design a program for you that can assist in getting you to the top of your game.
MEDITATION. Studies have proven that practising regular meditation can boost the immune system, reduce the effects of aging and improve brain activity. Let me teach you simple and effective techniques for calming the mind, easing stress and improving sleeping patterns.
REHABILITATION. I can assist in providing rehabilitation programs to aid in your recovery, while working in consultation with your health professional.
MASSAGE. Massage is an excellent addition to any fitness program. It has many benefits, from reducing pain and tension, to increasing flexibility and range of motion, to stimulating blood circulation and the release of healing hormones. Also, the type of massage can be tailored to suit the client’s needs, from warming up to cooling down, to alleviating stress and insomnia.
MIRACLE MAKEOVERS. Getting married soon or planning a holiday and you want to get bikini-ready? I offer short-term rapid makeover programmes that will help you make the most gains in the shortest possible time.
TRAINING FOR SPECIAL POPULATIONS. Everybody has different needs and I can provide assistance with all of them. Categories can include:
- Pre and post-natal. Moderate physical activity during pregnancy is good for both the mother and the developing baby. Also, getting back into shape after birth also aids in general wellbeing and figure recovery. I can set up programs of mild to moderate exercises to address both of these issues.
- Plus-size. For those who have gained a lot of weight and have limited mobility, returning to health can be a challenge but it is not impossible. I can set up programs that include condition-appropriate exercises coupled with a sensible weight-reduction diet, guaranteed to radically improve the client’s condition.
- Children and teens. The developing years in a young person’s life are the most critical and these days our youth are being bombarded with everything bad from excessive time on the computer, to junk food everywhere they turn. Give your children a great start in life and teach them how to get in shape and stay in shape through Great Health PT. Also included is instruction to the parents on the roles of sound nutrition and exercise in their child’s development.
- Families. Similar to the above, I can also provide both One-On-One and Group Training for the whole family, strengthening the bond between family members.
